Munich/Luxembourg – January 23, 2023 –Welcome to the Jungle raises €50 million to further expand in Europe and the US. Welcome to the Jungle, France’s major player in the employer branding and recruitment space, announced today that it reached its third round of funding worth €50 million. In addition to its legacy partners Revaia, XAnge and Bpifrance — via its fund Digital Ventures —, the latest shareholder list includes five new investors with the same ethics and ethos as Welcome to the Jungle: Blisce, Cipio Partners, Groupe ADP, Kostogri and RAISE Sherpas. Welcome to the Jungle plans to use this new investor capital to ramp up its employer branding solutions in France and expand them globally, with a keen focus on the United States.
Welcome to the Jungle is proud to have reached its Series C funding round. Not only did the company renew partnerships with three well-known entities (Revaia, XAnge and BPIfrance, via its fund Digital Ventures), it has also earned the trust of five new investors that complement one another and share Welcome to the Jungle's values: Blisce (France/US), Cipio Partners (Luxembourg/Germany), Groupe ADP (Aéroports de Paris, France), Kostogri (France) and RAISE Sherpas via Phiture, its philanthropic unit.
Welcome to the Jungle's plans for the new funding include expanding globally to step up its lead in employer branding solutions. The company will be enhancing its offering with new features, localizing its solutions for the US market, and bringing in new talent to help it grow.
Since it was founded in 2015, Welcome to the Jungle and co-founder Jérémy Clédat have been popularizing the employer branding concept with solutions that increase the attractiveness of companies for job-seekers and provide them an exciting and seamless hiring experience.
Jérémy Clédat, CEO and co-founder of Welcome to the Jungle, says, “We're thrilled about achieving this fundraising and earning the trust of both our legacy and new investors. This third funding round is a triumphant way to end 2022, a year when we launched a new sales offer and our latest features, reached nearly 3 million unique monthly visitors, brought in over 100 new hires, and reached a milestone of 5,000 customers and €30 million in ARR. It's quite an achievement given the current economic climate. Now more than ever, we have what it takes to keep revolutionizing the staffing sector and start a new chapter in Welcome to the Jungle's history.”
Roland Dennert, Managing Partner of Cipio Partners, commented, “We are pleased to begin this partnership with Welcome to the Jungle. Its proven business model has stood the test of time and is continually reinventing itself. We strongly believe in the service's global growth potential and are delighted to be backing their mission and helping make it a reality.”
Alexandre Mars, Founder and CEO of Blisce, added, “This investment in Welcome to the Jungle is perfectly in line with our investment strategy. We are proud to support Welcome to the Jungle by bringing our expertise in international markets to help them expand, particularly in the United States, and by supporting them in their strong ESG policies.”
Elina Berrebi, Founding Partner of Revaia, said: “In just a few years, Welcome to the Jungle has revolutionized the talent acquisition experience by adopting a unique positioning, which has proven the sustainability of its model through significant growth in a complex market.
